It got to 0 deg. last night but winds mostly from the east again. finally about 4am I was able to make some progress.

8 - 10 mph winds ladt night mostly from the East Temps down to 2. Worked on shoring up the base mainly on the left side.

Very strong winds from the East last night and today. I was only able to make ice for about 3 hours today. I am trying to beef up the base again. May be a little too top heavy.

I had a Fair night last night it got to 19 deg. with a NW wind at 4. Have to concentrate on the base. It started to tip to the north on the night of the 28th.

I had a good night last night it got to 5 deg. with a west wind at 8. It seems that things will be ok now. Working on tier four.

No change for 5 days. Weather has been above freezing all this time. I have been very worried because on the 27th I was experiencing seismic activity. That has subsided and finally the temps are going to be favorable. But not out of the woods yet.

US Coast Guard ice breaker, every time this boat goes through the ice recedes from the shore about 3 inches taking my water source line with it. Now for sure I will have to extend the line.
